I recently planned a dinner party in celebration of my wife at Left Bank and it was a phenomenal experience. The Manager, Kevin was extremely helpful and accommodating with a last minute booking. Christine who was in charge during the actual event was very professional and helpful, especially when there were more guests than anticipated. Sammy provided excellent service. All the guests were thrilled with the food and service. It was a very special night for my wife and I couldn't be happier about it!

Great ambiance and decor. I attended at party for about 40 people. The salads were amazing All of the entrees were amazingly delicious (steak, salmon and mushroom ravioli). The service was impeccable. And the profiteroles were to die for.

Stop by for lunch on a whim and sat outside on the patio in perfect sunshine weather. Both the service and food were outstanding, highly recommend for a great dining experience plus it's pet friendly, which is a fantastic bonus. Thanks, Left Bank.

Still such a delight! Friendly and attentive staff, beautiful high ceiling dining room. Had the Salade Niçoise, perfect on a hot summer day. I always have the tuna cooked rather than seared. Never disappointed. The Profiteroles for dessert with the best fudge sauce ever, the choux pastry crisp on the outside and airy on the inside, enclosing a light vanilla ice cream a bit like a gelato, truly unbeatable even by the ones in Paris!!! Bravo!!!

The food is healthy and fresh! I had the tuna salad it was big, almost two servings, I'm not a fan of a lot of greens just enough. The server was so mindful I wasn't feeling too good to begin with qnd he was so patient, the outdoor patio with all the dogs were a huge plus to see

I've had some reasons to be in this area as of late and have been dining here more than I normally would. We opted for a late lunch and it was amazing. I wasn't in the mood for an entree so I had two appetizers. My partner had the pork chop. My Heirloom Tomato Salad was honestly the best one I've ever eaten. I'm a total tomato snob because I grow my own heirlooms. It takes a lot to impress me. I ordered it because mine aren't ready yet. It tasted like nothing else I've ever experienced for this dish. I would go back JUST for it. The portion is also huge--unlike other locations I've been to recently, cough cough, in Albany, cough! The tuna tartare was also outstanding. I simply devoured it. I wouldn't recommend it to share though. I don't like sharing my food in general, so there's that. It's also served in a champagne glass, so you can ascertain the portion size. My dining partner said his pork chop was great. I tasted a small bite and agreed. I didn't try his dessert but he said it was great. I'm taking a point off for charging the same amount for coffee as soda water from the bar. No, not fancy sparkling water, just soda water from "the gun" behind the bar. A little bit of a value discrepancy there methinks. We dined outdoors and it was absolutely perfect. The crowd is a bit better "behaved" than at other locations where you can eat al fresco. What I mean is that I didn't see everyone buried in their phones, speaking loudly on a Facetime call, or "making a deal" that required lots of booming voices. I want to return here for an actual dinner and sit inside. This is my new go-to French restaurant. So happy I've found it!

I've been coming here randomly for years, but I've never written about it. Historically, it's been a great spot for consistent service, food and wine offerings. More recently, I've spent some lunch times here, and this is what I'm going to reflect on here. The place is always pretty busy. It's a great atmosphere honestly, just buzzing with people and good attitudes. The host and bartender are always very kind and welcoming. I am made to feel as if I am remembered upon my visits, which may or may not be true, but doesn't matter ultimately. It just helps you feel more welcome when you visit, which is part of a great experience at the restaurant... or anywhere really. One of my visits, I was just really craving a French onion soup on a rainy day. So I ordered that, along with the Salade Verte. I admit the salad had a little bit too much dressing on it for my tastes. But - the flavors were incredibly delicious, lettuces fresh, and just the right amount of shallots. The soup was downright outstanding. What I would expect from a French restaurant. On other visits I have had the cheeseburger. It is remarkable and that it is not remarkable. It's just solid, delicious food. I enjoy the fries, crispy, just the right salt. The burger and the bun work well together; nothing falls apart, and it's delicious even with all the fixings on board. The place is clean, inviting, well staffed. The menu is varied and everything I have ever tried to date has been delicious. Be prepared to circle for parking, that area of Magnolia Avenue is very busy - and you may need to walk a little.

Still our favorite! We had a great beach day with our dog, then stopped for an early dinner. They seated us outside in the shade. Water was brought for all of us immediately. The patio quickly filled up and we were very grateful for our shady spot almost out of the traffic flow. We started with their mouthwateringly wonderful bread. So good. And oysters in the half shell. A little disappointing compared to previous times. Our drinks arrived and were great (the lemonade is tops). The trout was perfectly prepared. Lots of capers and almonds, if you're a fan. And crispy-cooked fresh green beans. The salad was very fresh and the herbs tossed through it were a brilliant addition. Our server was very attentive and friendly. She checked on us and made certain we were lacking for nothing. The other servers were equally helpful and friendly. Our dog was in the aisle and everyone who worked there was extra kind to her. It was a joy to spend the cooking Fourth of July early evening outside watching people go by and seeing so many having a relaxing time in a fun, upbeat restaurant. You can't beat the atmosphere at Left Bank. Always a mood booster!
